These bracelets are everywhere. EVERYWHERE. If you have elementary-school age kids or even older ones, chances are you’ve seen them. My (very crafty, btw) 5-year-old just asked me for a loom today after seeing the bracelets her 5th-grade friend made and brought to the bus stop.
The appeal must lie in the initial ease of making these, particularly if you have a loom. But here’s the best part — you don’t need a loom to create these, as you’ll see in a couple of pieces below, where you’ll find several ways of making great bracelets without the loom (my child’s friend uses the finger method you’ll see in the very last video.)
So go on out, get a few packs of bands for $1 each (or order them online if they’re becoming scarce where you are) and sit down with the kids for some bracelet making with the help of all this great advice from our fabulous So Crafty contributors. Everyone will have a great time!
